Specialist training and consultancy firm, HowToMoodle, is making top tips in the use of the popular open source course management system available to users via its blog and Twitter account. There are around 30 million users from over 44,000 sites globally using Moodle. HowToMoodle was the first company in the world set up exclusively to offer training and "front end" Moodle consultancy.

Following on from the launch of HowToMoodle's manuals: Course Creator Reference Manual for Moodle 1.9, and HowToMoodle Administrator 1.8, the tips will appeal to experienced and new Moodle users. The manuals are already available as ebooks and in hard copy from www.howtomoodle.com and will shortly be obtainable chapter-by-chapter for those who have specific gaps in their knowledge.

Author of the manuals and director of HowToMoodle, Ray Lawrence, is also an experienced trainer, consultant and speaker. Ray says, "We've run training courses and offered consultancy in Moodle since the very early days of the software and are now able to make the most of new technology to disseminate some of the tips we've picked up to Moodle users worldwide."
